A Heat Shifting Diverter (HSD) is an autonomous device that allows opening and closing of nozzles by means of downhole temperatures in thermal wells. The HSD can control steam and water breakthrough on SAGD and CSS wells.
The Staging Diverter Pup (SDP) are devices that allow opening and closing of nozzles by means of shifting the SDP’s internal sleeves. The operation is conducted mechanically from the rig floor. The SDP tool can either have a 2-way shift or a 3-way shift.
