Mechanical Release Tool (MRT)

APPLICATION:
For use in releasing tubular down hole in vertical or horizontal wells.
Mechanical release using rotation only.
FEATURES:
No gripping dies used that can slip or fail, and also damage the tube being released.
Can be re-attached to the released tubular down hole for removal.
High torque, tensile and compressive load capabilities.
Release torque values (left hand) are low, to ensure unwanted connection back-off of drill pipe.
BENEFITS:
Capability to reconnect to the released section down hole.
Bumper subs to find neutral point not required.
